Emergency Readiness Training

Program 1 — American Red Cross Certified
First Aid / CPR / AED Certification
Hands-on, skills-based certification for coaches, teachers, athletic staff, and administrators. Covers adult and pediatric CPR and AED use, and first aid for common emergencies.
What Participants Learn
Each participant receives hands-on practice and leaves with a 2-year American Red Cross certification.
- Recognize and respond to cardiac arrest in adults, children, and infants
- Perform high-quality chest compressions and rescue breaths
- Operate an AED confidently and safely
- Manage choking emergencies across all age groups
- Provide first aid for wounds, burns, fractures, and shock
- Coordinate with EMS and document emergency responses
Program 2 — National STOP THE BLEED® Program
Stop the Bleed® Training
STOP THE BLEED® is a national awareness campaign and education program designed to empower bystanders to act quickly and save lives by controlling life-threatening bleeding before EMS arrives.
What Participants Learn
Participants practice hands-on skills with real tourniquets and wound-packing supplies.
- Identify life-threatening bleeding and act immediately
- Apply a tourniquet correctly to an extremity
- Pack a wound to control junctional bleeding
- Apply effective direct pressure techniques
- Understand when and how to call for help
- Operate calmly in a high-stress emergency scenario
